A: Today’s Deb-Blog Has Been Brought to You by the Letter D for Doing and the Letter A for Action! The Absolute Agony and Addicting Allure of the A to Z Blog Challenge
Here goes year two! This marks my second year participating in the April A to Z Blog Challenge, where you contribute a total of 26 blogs, with Sundays off for good (or naughty) behavior. I finished the challenge last year. But understand, I’m half German; I will accept and meet the challenge of posting 26 blogs in 30 days. Truth be told, I’ve been psyching myself up for this since Christmas. I learned my lesson last time when I forgot about it until the last week of March and really had to work to keep it up. Not this year, my friends. I started this “A” contribution on February 12th. (Happy birthday, Abe Lincoln.) This year’s approach will be a bit different from 2015, as well. I am keeping it lighter, shorter and more personal, and I hope that won’t disappoint the six of you who enjoyed my work last time.
My blog is called Deb-Blog, shortening Debbie to Deb and combining it with blog, which combines the words web and log. So why not? And not to get too “gimmik-y” and cute but every entry will begin with the letter D for Debbie and in a sort of Sesame Street, theme; hence the, “Today’s episode of Deb-Blog has been brought to you by the letters D for Doing and A for Action,” et cetera, et cetera.
And so it begins. I love to write, so it’s not torture. But anyone who’s done this before knows the pressure, the occasional desire to slack off and the internal questions about why we do this year after year. But as Winston Churchill said, “When you find yourself in Hell…keep moving.”
And you’re off with a bang!
I love your post title. It’s upbeat and snazzy…and so true!
The A to Z challenge is addictive. 🙂
Nice to meet you.
See you around on the A to Z circuit.
