Your Weekly, Sunday Interlude: The Beatles’ “Flying”

Label me as you wish but if you don’t choose The Beatles as the best band ever or pick them over the Rolling Stones, you might as well not be a vegan. Game over.

Maybe I said this before, but when I am in the car and a Beatles’ song pops up, I feel like it’s a sign of good things for the day. I remember one spring day I was speeding down the highway singing a Beatles’ song at the top of my lungs when another drive merged on and immediately locked alongside me as we serenaded each other to the same song going 60. Magic.

So this deep cut popped into my head the other day, like a necessary, subconscious theme song. Let is send you flying. It’s The Beatles’ “Flying,” from their 1967 Magical Mystery Tour album:
